How to manage the display of event name, date, and location
The Home page settings in Cadence allow you to control whether event details appear over your Home image. This feature helps you create a cleaner visual experience or emphasize your background image when needed. You can easily toggle this setting through the Home Menu's Settings tab in your event's admin dashboard.
How to do it
Log in to your Cadence Admin account.
Navigate to your event dashboard.
Click on "Home" in the left sidebar menu.
Select the "Settings" tab at the top of the page.
Locate the checkbox labeled "Hide event name, date & location display over the Home image (Web only)" in the settings panel.
Check the box to hide these event details from displaying over your Home image.
This setting only affects the web version of your event, not the mobile app.
Review how this change will affect your Home page layout.
When this option is enabled, the countdown timer will be automatically disabled, as it's part of the event details display.
Click "Save" at the bottom of the page to apply your changes.
Troubleshooting
If you want to hide only specific elements (name, date, or location) rather than all three, you'll need to use the newer individual display controls instead. These can be found in the same Settings tab and allow for more granular customization.
