The Cadence Services Info menu allows you to configure essential service details for your event, including hardware requirements. Located in the Event Setup section under Cadence Services Info, this setting helps the support team understand what equipment needs to be provided for your event, ensuring all necessary resources are available when needed.
When to use
When planning an event that requires specific hardware
When updating hardware needs for an existing event
When coordinating equipment requirements with the support team
When preparing for onsite or hybrid events
Before you start
You must have System Administrator or Event Manager permissions to modify Cadence Services Info settings. Required fields are marked with an asterisk (*).
How to do it
Log in to your Cadence Admin account.
Navigate to your event dashboard.
Click on "Event Setup" in the left sidebar menu.
Select "Cadence Services Info" from the submenu that appears.
If you don't see the Cadence Services Info option, you may need to scroll within the sidebar menu or check your permissions.
Locate the "Hardware Required" dropdown field in the form.
Select the appropriate option from the dropdown:
Yes: Indicates hardware is needed for your event
No: Indicates no hardware is required
TBD: Indicates the hardware requirements are still being determined
Consider your selection based on your event type and format.
Selecting "Yes" helps the support team prepare the necessary equipment for your event in advance.
Review the "Onsite Services Type" field to ensure it aligns with your hardware selection.
If you select "Yes" for hardware but "Virtual" for Onsite Services Type, you may need to clarify how hardware will be utilized.
Click "Save" to apply your changes.
The system will not save if any required fields are incomplete or contain invalid values.
Troubleshooting
If you cannot access or save changes to the hardware requirements:
Verify that you have the proper permissions (System Administrator or Event Manager)
Ensure all required fields are completed
Check that your event is in an editable state (not archived or locked)
