The Speakers feature in Cadence allows you to export a comprehensive list of presenters for reporting, analysis, and offline management. From the Speakers section of your event, you can generate detailed reports that include speaker profiles, contact information, and session assignments to help with outreach and event planning.
When to use
When creating reports for stakeholders or team members
When building outreach lists for speaker communication
When analyzing speaker demographics or participation
When importing speaker data into other systems
Before you start
You must have System Administrator or Event Manager permissions to export speaker data from the Admin interface. Regular users can export speakers from the Web platform if this feature has been enabled for their role.
How to do it
Log in to your Cadence account.
Navigate to your event dashboard.
Click on "Speakers" in the left sidebar menu.
If you don't see the Speakers option, check that it's enabled in Event Setup › Menu.
Review the list of speakers displayed on the page.
Apply filters if needed using the "Refine" button to narrow down the speakers you want to export.
Click the "Export" button in the upper right corner of the screen.
In the Admin interface, this button is located at the top of the speakers list. In the Web interface, it appears in the same location when the feature is enabled.
Select your preferred export format (typically Excel).
Wait for the export to generate and download.
For large events with many speakers, the export may take a few moments to complete. Do not close your browser during this process.
Open the downloaded file with your preferred spreadsheet application.
Review the exported data which includes:
Speaker names and contact information
Biographical details
Company and title
Social media links
Schedule items they're assigned to
Speaker ID (useful for importing or updating)
Troubleshooting
