How to filter and search for specific leads

The Leads section in Cadence allows you to quickly locate specific leads captured at your event using powerful search and filter capabilities. Whether you need to find leads by name, company, or custom field criteria, the search functionality helps you efficiently manage your lead database and follow up with the right contacts.

When to use

  • When looking for a specific lead among many captured at an event
  • When preparing for follow-up with high-priority leads
  • When organizing leads by specific criteria or categories
  • When creating targeted lists for post-event marketing
Customer Matching must be enabled in your event settings to access all search capabilities.

How to do it

Navigate to the Leads section in your Cadence dashboard.
Select either "All Leads" or "My Leads" from the top tabs.
Click the search icon in the upper right corner of the screen.
Enter your search term in the search field.
You can search by name, email, company, title, or any custom field value.
Press Enter or click the search icon to execute your search.
Review the filtered results showing only leads matching your search criteria.
Refine your search further by clicking the "Filter" button next to the search field.
Select additional filter criteria such as:
  • Lead categories
  • Custom fields
  • Date captured
  • Matching status
Click "Apply" to update your search results with the combined filters.
Clear filters by clicking "Clear All" or the "X" next to individual filters.
Export your filtered leads list by clicking the "Export" button if you need to share or analyze the data elsewhere.

Troubleshooting

If your search returns no results:
  • Check for typos in your search term
  • Try using partial terms instead of complete words
  • Verify that the lead information was properly captured during scanning
  • Ensure you have permission to view all leads in the event
