How to Determine Which Color Theme Option is Right for Your Event
The Color Theme menu in Cadence allows you to customize the visual appearance of your event by choosing between three different options: Default Color, Custom Color, or Advanced Colors. Each option offers different levels of customization that affect how colors are applied to your event's interface elements across web and mobile platforms.
When to use
When setting up a new event
When you want to match your event's appearance to your brand colors
When you need different colors for different features
Color Theme customization is only available for paid licenses (Premium, Premium Pro, or Enterprise).
How to do it
Navigate to the Admin site for your event.
Select Event Setup from the main navigation menu.
Click on Color Theme in the left sidebar menu.
Review each color theme option to determine which best suits your needs:
Default Color: Uses the color scheme set at the Account level
Custom Color: Applies a single color of your choice to all features
Advanced Colors: Allows different colors for each feature
Choose Default Color if you want to maintain consistency with other events in your account.
Default Color is the quickest option and requires no additional configuration.
Choose Custom Color if you want a unified brand color throughout your entire event.
Custom Color works well when you have a primary brand color that should be consistently applied across all features.
Choose Advanced Colors if you need different colors for different features or sections.
Advanced Colors gives you the most flexibility but requires more time to configure.
Consider your audience and event type when making your selection.
Your color choices will affect all aspects of your event including the web interface, mobile apps, and any custom menu items.
Select your preferred option by clicking the corresponding radio button.
Configure your selected option following the on-screen instructions.
Click "Save" to apply your color theme selection.
Troubleshooting
If your colors don't appear as expected after saving:
Refresh your browser cache
Check that you're viewing the correct event
Verify that your event license supports color theme customization
