When managing multiple Live Feeds in Cadence, you may occasionally encounter issues where feeds appear to be missing or duplicated in the interface. These problems typically occur after changing feed settings or during the transition from Single Feed to Multiple Feed mode. The following steps will help you troubleshoot and resolve these issues through the Live Feed Menu › Settings section.
When to use
When feeds you've created don't appear in the menu
When the same feed appears multiple times
When transitioning from Single Feed to Multiple Feed mode
When feeds aren't displaying correctly after saving changes
Before you start
You must have Event Manager or Administrator permissions to modify Live Feed settings and troubleshoot feed issues.
How to do it
Log in to your Cadence admin dashboard.
Navigate to your event management page.
Select Live Feed from the left navigation menu.
Click the Settings tab at the top of the page.
Verify your feed structure is set to "Multiple Feed" if you're using multiple feeds.
Changing from Single Feed to Multiple Feed mode requires saving before additional feeds can be created.
Click Save to apply your feed structure setting.
Navigate to the "Feed" tab in the Live Feed section.
Review the list of existing feeds for duplicates.
Delete duplicate feeds by clicking the trash icon next to each unwanted duplicate.
Before deleting, check if the duplicate feed contains unique posts you want to preserve.
For missing feeds, click the "+" button to recreate the feed.
Enter the name for your feed that clearly describes its purpose.
Configure visibility settings for the feed if needed.
Click Save to create or update the feed.
Navigate to the Menu section in your event's admin panel.
Verify that your Live Feed menu item is enabled and visible.
Preview your event to confirm feeds appear correctly for attendees.
