The Schedule Labels section in Cadence allows you to customize terminology used throughout your event's schedule interface. When working in the Schedule Menu › Labels area, you may occasionally encounter issues where your label customizations don't save properly. This guide will help you troubleshoot and resolve common saving errors to ensure your custom labels for Track, Location, and Speaker fields are properly applied.

When the Save button doesn't respond when clicked
When custom labels revert to defaults after saving
When you receive error messages while saving label changes
When label changes don't appear in the attendee interface after saving
Before you start
You must have System Administrator or Event Manager permissions to modify schedule labels. Required fields are marked with an asterisk (*).
How to do it
Verify your browser connection is stable.
Check that all required fields have values entered.
Empty required fields will prevent saving even if their toggle switches are enabled.
Toggle off any problematic label customizations temporarily.
If one specific label is causing issues, try saving without it to identify the problem.
Clear your browser cache and cookies.
Refresh the page and try making your changes again.
Enter shorter label text if you're using very long custom labels.
Extremely long label text may cause validation errors in some cases.
Remove any special characters from your custom labels.
Certain special characters like quotation marks or parentheses may cause saving issues.
Try saving one change at a time instead of multiple changes at once.
