How to incorporate media in Live Feed posts

The Live Feed feature in Cadence allows you to enhance your posts with images and videos, making your event's social feed more engaging and informative. From the Live Feed Menu › Settings section, you can configure your feed structure before adding rich media content that captures attendees' attention and drives engagement.

When to use

  • When sharing event highlights or behind-the-scenes content
  • When announcing speakers or special guests with visual elements
  • When demonstrating products or services
  • When creating more engaging announcements or updates

Before you start

You must have posting permissions in the Live Feed to add media content to posts.

How to do it

Log in to your Cadence admin dashboard.
Navigate to your event management page.
Select Live Feed from the left navigation menu.
Click the Posts tab at the top of the page.
Click the "+" button to create a new post.
Select the feed where you want to post if you're using Multiple Feed mode.
Enter your content in the text field.
Click the attachment icon (paper clip or image icon) in the post creation interface.
You can upload multiple images in a single post to create a gallery-style display.
Select the media type you want to add:
  • Images (JPG, PNG, GIF)
  • Videos (MP4, MOV)
Choose files from your device to upload.
Large video files may take longer to upload and process. For optimal performance, keep videos under 100MB.
Wait for the media to upload and appear in the preview.
Arrange multiple images by dragging them into your preferred order if needed.
Add a caption to provide context for your media.
Review your post with the attached media.
Click Post to publish your content to the Live Feed.

Troubleshooting

If your media fails to upload, check that the file format is supported and the file size isn't too large. Supported image formats include JPG, PNG, and GIF, while supported video formats include MP4 and MOV.
