Appointments - Configuring Standard Checkin in the Admin
Find your event at account.eventcadence.com , and ensure Appointments are enabled in your Event > Menu Configuration. Then navigate to the Appointments Menu.
From here click Configuration, and check Attendees Sign In Enabled and Standard Check-in.
