When creating a new event that must adhere to corporate visual identity standards
How to do it
Obtain your organization's brand guidelines document or color specifications.
Navigate to the Admin site for your event.
Select Event Setup from the main navigation menu.
Click on Color Theme in the left sidebar menu.
Review your organization's color requirements to determine which Color Theme option best suits your needs:
Default Color: For organization-wide standard colors
Custom Color: For a single brand color applied throughout
Advanced Colors: For different colors per feature
Select the appropriate color theme option based on your brand requirements.
If your organization requires different colors for different features (e.g., primary and secondary brand colors), choose "Advanced Colors."
For Custom Color, click on the color box to open the color picker.
Enter the exact hex code from your brand guidelines.
Most brand guidelines provide specific hex codes (e.g., #FF5733) for precise color matching.
For Advanced Colors, assign appropriate brand colors to each feature.
Consider using your primary brand color for main features and secondary colors for supporting features.
Click "Save" to apply your color theme settings.
Preview your event in both web and mobile interfaces to verify brand compliance.
Document your color choices for future reference and consistency across events.
Troubleshooting
If colors don't appear exactly as specified in your brand guidelines, verify you've entered the correct hex codes. Some colors may appear slightly different across devices due to screen calibration differences.
