Monitor Notification Activity During Your Event

The Notifications Settings page in Cadence allows you to track and manage notification delivery during your event. From the Notifications menu, you can view delivery statistics, monitor open rates, and ensure your communications are reaching attendees effectively, helping you make real-time adjustments to your notification strategy as needed.

When to use

  • When tracking engagement with important announcements
  • When troubleshooting reported notification delivery issues
  • When evaluating the effectiveness of your communication strategy
  • When making real-time adjustments to notification timing or content
You must have Admin or Event Manager permissions to monitor notification activity.

How to do it

Navigate to your event dashboard in Cadence.
Select "Notifications" from the left sidebar menu.
Click the "List" tab at the top of the page.
Review the notification list to see all sent and scheduled notifications.
Check the "Status" column to verify delivery status of each notification.
Status times are displayed in your event's time zone, not the user's local time.
Click on any notification in the list to view detailed delivery statistics.
Review the "Delivery Statistics" section to see open rates and delivery status.
A low open rate may indicate timing issues or notification fatigue among attendees.
Monitor real-time delivery of scheduled notifications during your event.
Filter the notification list by using the search box to find specific notifications.
Create a new notification if you need to send an immediate update based on your monitoring.
Resending a notification will overwrite existing statistics. Only data from the latest dispatch will be collected.
Export notification reports if needed for post-event analysis.

Troubleshooting

If attendees report not receiving notifications:
  • Verify they haven't disabled push notifications on their devices
  • Confirm they have the latest version of the Cadence mobile app (v2.7.404 for Android or v2.7.393 for iOS)
  • Check that your notification settings are properly saved in your event
