How to adjust tile alignment on the Home page (Web Only)
The Home page alignment settings in Cadence allow you to control how your content tiles are positioned on the web version of your event. By adjusting the alignment options in the Home Menu's Settings tab, you can create a more visually appealing layout that matches your event's branding and improves the attendee experience.
When to use
When setting up a new event
When refreshing your event's appearance
When adding new content tiles to your Home page
When you want to change how tiles are positioned on the screen
How to do it
Log in to your Cadence Admin account.
Navigate to your event dashboard.
Click on "Home" in the left sidebar menu.
Select the "Settings" tab at the top of the page.
Locate the "Alignment (Web Only)" dropdown menu.
Alignment settings only affect the web version of your event, not the mobile app.
Choose one of the following alignment options:
Left Aligned: Positions tiles along the left side of the page
Centered: Places tiles in the center of the page
Right Aligned: Aligns tiles along the right side of the page
Consider how your alignment choice works with your column layout selection.
For "Single Column" or "Two Columns" layouts, the alignment determines the horizontal position of the entire column structure. For "Single Row" or "Two Rows" layouts, it affects how the rows are positioned across the screen.
Preview your changes by clicking the "Preview" button in the upper right corner.
The preview opens in a new tab, showing exactly how your Home page will appear to attendees.
Return to the Settings tab and make any necessary adjustments.
Click "Save" at the bottom of the page to apply your changes.
Unsaved changes will be lost if you navigate away from the Settings page without saving.
Troubleshooting
If your alignment changes don't appear after saving:
Clear your browser cache and refresh the page
Ensure you're viewing the web version of your event, as alignment settings don't affect the mobile app
