Manage Permissions for Cadence Services Info Settings

The Cadence Services Info menu allows you to control who can view and modify service configuration options for your events. From the Cadence Services Info › Info section, you can set permission levels for different user roles, ensuring only authorized personnel can update critical service settings like logistics requirements, hardware needs, and support types.

When to use

  • When establishing access controls for service configuration settings
  • When delegating logistics coordination responsibilities
  • When restricting hardware requirement modifications
  • When standardizing permission levels across your organization

Before you start

You must have System Administrator permissions to modify Cadence Services Info permission settings. Required fields are marked with an asterisk (*).

How to do it

Log in to your Cadence Admin account.
Navigate to your account management dashboard.
Select "Account Settings" from the left sidebar navigation.
Click on "Permissions" in the submenu.
If you don't see the Permissions option, you may need to scroll within the sidebar menu or check that you have System Administrator access.
Locate the "Cadence Services Info" section in the permissions list.
Configure which user roles can view Cadence Services Info:
  • System Administrators (always enabled)
  • Event Managers
  • Event Schedulers
Set edit permissions for each role by checking or unchecking the corresponding boxes.
Granting edit permissions to Event Schedulers may lead to inconsistent service configurations across your events.
Specify field-level permissions for sensitive settings like HubSpot Deal Link and Logistics User ID.
Field-level permissions allow you to grant view access to certain fields while restricting edit capabilities.
Review your permission configuration to ensure it aligns with your organization's security requirements.
Click "Save" to apply your permission changes.
Verify the changes by logging in as different user types to confirm permissions are working correctly.

Troubleshooting

If users report they cannot access or edit Cadence Services Info settings despite having the appropriate permissions:
  • Verify they have the correct user role in your account
  • Check if any account-level restrictions are overriding your permission settings
  • Ensure the user is accessing the correct event in their dashboard
