SAML 2.0 Single Sign-On (SSO) Integration

Cadence supports Single Sign-On (SSO) using the SAML 2.0 protocol, allowing your users to securely authenticate using your organization's identity provider (IdP). SSO is available for both Cadence mobile applications and the Cadence web platform.

Supported SAML Identity Providers

Cadence is compatible with all standard SAML 2.0 identity providers, including but not limited to:
  • Okta
  • Azure Active Directory
  • PingIdentity
  • OneLogin
  • ADFS
  • Shibboleth
  • Other SAML-compliant IdPs


Required Information from Your IdP

To configure SSO, Cadence requires the following from your identity provider:
Preferred Option:Upload the SAML metadata XML file, which should include:
  • Entity ID
  • Connection ID (or similar unique identifier)
  • Public X.509 Certificate
  • Assertion Consumer Service (ACS) URL (automatically parsed)
Manual Option:If XML metadata is not available, provide the following individually:
  • Entity ID
  • SSO Redirect/Sign-In URL
  • Public X.509 Certificate


Implementation Notes

  • The integration must be performed by an IT administrator with access to your SAML identity provider.
  • After receiving the required information, Cadence will configure and test the connection with your team.
