The Groups feature in Cadence allows you to export detailed information about your event groups for reporting, analysis, and offline management. From the Groups Menu › Settings section, you can generate comprehensive reports that include group names, descriptions, membership, and configuration settings to help with event planning and organization.

Before you start
You must have System Administrator or Event Manager permissions to export group data.
How to do it
Log in to your Cadence Admin account.
Navigate to your event dashboard.
Select "Groups" from the left sidebar menu.
Click the "Settings" tab at the top of the page.
Locate the "Export" button in the upper right corner of the screen.
If you want to export only specific groups, use the filter options before exporting to narrow down your selection.
Click the "Export" button to open the export options.
Select your preferred export format (typically Excel).
The export includes group names, descriptions, visibility settings, and administrative status.
Wait for the export to generate and download.
For large events with many groups, the export may take several minutes to complete. Do not close your browser during this process.
Open the downloaded file with your preferred spreadsheet application.
Review the exported data which includes all group configuration details.
Troubleshooting
If your export fails or contains incomplete data:
Verify you have the correct permissions for exporting group data
For large exports, try exporting smaller batches by using more specific filters
Ensure your browser allows downloads from the Cadence platform
