How to integrate lead data with other Cadence features

The Leads feature in Cadence captures valuable attendee information that can be connected with other platform features to create a comprehensive view of customer interactions. By integrating lead data with Ensemble engagements, customer profiles, and event analytics, you can generate powerful insights about attendee engagement and improve follow-up activities.

When to use

  • When creating comprehensive post-event reports
  • When connecting lead interactions with customer engagement history
  • When measuring engagement metrics across different event activities
  • When preparing for strategic follow-up with high-value leads
You must have Admin or Event Manager permissions to access and integrate lead data with other features.

How to do it

    Navigate to your event dashboard.
    Select "Leads" from the left sidebar navigation.
    Enable customer matching in Lead Settings.
Customer matching must be enabled to connect leads with customer profiles and create automatic engagements.
    Select an Ensemble form from the dropdown if you want to automatically create engagements.
If no Ensemble form is selected, leads will still be matched to customers, but no engagement records will be created automatically.
    Review and confirm matches in the "Matching" tab.
    Navigate to "Customers" in the left sidebar to view matched leads in customer profiles.
Customer profiles will display lead interactions in their engagement history if matching is enabled with an Ensemble form selected.
    Access "Reports" from the left sidebar navigation.
    Select "Leads" from the Reports submenu.
    View the analytics dashboard showing lead capture metrics.
    Compare lead data with other event metrics by navigating to different report sections.
Cross-reference lead capture data with appointment attendance and schedule item participation to identify highly engaged attendees.
    Export integrated reports by clicking the "Export" button in the top-right corner.
    Use the exported data for post-event analysis and follow-up planning.

Troubleshooting

If lead data isn't appearing in customer profiles:
  • Verify that Customer Matching is enabled in Lead Settings
  • Confirm that an Ensemble form is selected for automatic engagement creation
  • Check that leads have been successfully matched to customer profiles
