How to use Registration data for event planning and reporting
The Registration Form in Cadence collects valuable attendee information that can be leveraged for event planning and reporting. By accessing and analyzing this data from the Registration Menu › Form section, you can gain insights into attendee demographics, preferences, and registration patterns to inform your event strategy and measure registration effectiveness.
When to use

You must have System Administrator or Event Manager permissions to access registration data for analysis.
How to do it
Log in to your Cadence Admin account.
Navigate to your event dashboard.
Select "Registration" from the left sidebar menu.
Click the "List" tab at the top of the page.
Review the registration summary statistics at the top of the page.
These statistics show total registrations, completed registrations, and waitlisted attendees if waitlist functionality is enabled.
Export the registration data by clicking the "Export" button in the upper right corner.
Select the export format that best suits your analysis needs (CSV, Excel, or PDF).
Choose "Advanced Export - Assigned & Elective" to include both registration form responses and schedule item selections.
The advanced export allows you to select specific columns to include from registration and custom attendee fields.
Select the specific fields you want to include in your export.
Open the exported file in your preferred analysis tool (Excel, Google Sheets, etc.).
Create pivot tables or charts to visualize registration trends.
Look for patterns in registration timing, demographic information, or schedule item preferences to inform future event planning.
Analyze completion rates by comparing total registrations to completed registrations.
Identify any questions with low completion rates that might need revision.
Compare current registration data with previous events to track improvements.
Share insights with your event planning team to inform future decisions.
Troubleshooting
If your export file is missing expected data:
Verify that you selected all relevant fields during the export process
Check that the registration form was properly enabled for your event
Ensure that conditional questions are properly configured if responses appear incomplete
