How to upload speaker headshots and profile images
Upload Speaker Headshots and Profile Images
The Speakers feature in Cadence allows you to enhance presenter profiles with professional images that help attendees recognize and connect with your speakers. From the Speakers Menu, you can upload both profile headshots and banner images to create visually appealing speaker profiles that appear throughout your event platform.

When replacing default or outdated speaker images
Before you start
You must have System Administrator or Event Manager permissions to upload speaker images. For optimal results, prepare your image files in advance according to the recommended specifications.
How to do it
Log in to your Cadence Admin account.
Navigate to your event dashboard.
Click on "Speakers" in the left sidebar menu.
If you don't see the Speakers option, you may need to enable it first through Event Setup › Menu.
Locate the speaker whose image you want to upload in the speakers list.
Click on the speaker's name to open their profile.
Upload a profile headshot by clicking on the circular image placeholder.
For profile headshots, use a square image (1:1 aspect ratio) with minimum dimensions of 220x220px.
Select an image file from your device.
Adjust the cropping area if needed to focus on the speaker's face.
Click "Save" to apply the profile image.
Upload a banner image by clicking on the rectangular banner area at the top of the profile.
Banner images should be landscape orientation with a recommended size of 1200x400px.
Select a banner image file from your device.
Check "Save as default banner image" if you want this banner to appear when the speaker is added to other events.
When this option is selected, the banner image will be used for this speaker across all events where they appear.
Click "Save" to apply the banner image.
Review the speaker's profile to ensure both images display correctly.
Troubleshooting
If your images fail to upload or appear distorted, verify that they meet the recommended specifications and are in a supported format (JPG, PNG). Large image files (over 5MB) may cause upload failures or slow performance.
