The Resources feature in Cadence allows you to attach important files and links to appointments, making them accessible to attendees before, during, and after meetings. Through the Appointments Menu › Settings section, you can upload various file types, control who can view them, and even include resources directly in calendar invitations to ensure all participants have the materials they need.
When to use
When sharing meeting agendas with attendees
When providing background materials for discussion
When distributing presentation materials before or after meetings
When sharing customer profiles or bios with internal team members
Before you start
You must have System Administrator, Event Manager, Event Scheduler, or Appointment Organizer permissions to manage resources. There is a file size limit for resources that can be sent with invites.
How to do it
Navigate to your event dashboard in Cadence.
Select "Appointments" from the left sidebar menu.
Open an existing appointment or create a new one.
Locate the "Resources" section on the appointment details page.
Click the "+" button to add a new resource.
Select the resource type from the dropdown menu:
PDF
Website
Document (DOC/DOCX)
Presentation (PPT/PPTX)
Spreadsheet (XLS/XLSX)
Cadence supports PDF, Word documents, PowerPoint presentations, Excel spreadsheets, and image files.
Enter a name for the resource in the "Name" field.
Upload your file or enter the website URL depending on the resource type selected.
Toggle "Make Public" if you want the resource to be visible to all event attendees.
By default, resources are private and restricted to invited internal appointment attendees only. Admins, event managers, organizers, and schedulers will always have visibility.
Toggle "Send Material With Invite" if you want to include the resource in appointment invitation emails.
Select who should receive the material if you've enabled sending with invites:
All Attendees (default)
Customers Only
Internal Attendees Only
Files larger than 10MB may cause upload failures or delivery issues when sent with invitations.
Click "Save" to add the resource to the appointment.
View your added resources in the Resources section of the appointment details.
Edit existing resources by clicking on the resource name.
Remove resources by clicking the trash icon next to the resource name.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with appointment resources:
Check the file format of any problematic resources.
Verify the file size of your resources.
Remove corrupted resources by clicking the trash icon next to the resource name.
Upload a new version of the resource by clicking "Add Resource."
