How to Edit Registration Form Responses for Attendees Added via Admin

The Registration Form feature in Cadence allows you to view and edit form responses for all attendees, including those added directly through the admin interface. This functionality enables administrators to complete or update registration form information for attendees who bypassed the standard registration process, ensuring all necessary data is captured regardless of how the attendee was added to the event.

When to use

  • When updating information for attendees who were manually added via admin
  • When completing missing registration form data for attendees
  • When correcting inaccurate registration information
  • When adding responses for attendees who didn't complete the registration form
You must have Admin or Event Manager permissions to edit registration form responses.

How to do it

    Log in to your Cadence Admin account.
    Navigate to your event dashboard.
    Click on "People" in the left sidebar menu.
    Select "Registration" from the submenu that appears.
    Click on the "List" tab at the top of the page.
    Locate the attendee whose form responses you need to edit.
    Click the "View Form Responses" icon next to the attendee's name.
For attendees added via admin, this functionality was previously restricted but is now available for all registered attendees.
    Review the current form responses displayed in the list view.
    Click the edit (Pencil) icon next to any question to modify its response.
    Make your changes in the editing modal that appears.
Editing responses may affect group assignments if your form includes questions that determine group membership.
    Click "Save" to apply your changes to that specific question.
    Repeat steps 9-11 for each question you need to edit.
Changes are logged in the system with your name and timestamp for audit purposes.
    Return to the Registration List by clicking the back button when finished.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter a 404 error when trying to view form responses for an attendee from a different company account, ensure you're using the correct admin account that matches the attendee's company association.
