How to customize the schedule registration header text
Customize the Schedule Registration Header Text
The Registration Menu in Cadence allows you to customize the header text that appears above schedule item selections during event registration. Through the Registration Menu › Settings section, you can modify this text to provide clearer instructions or better align with your event's branding and communication style.
When to use
When you want to provide specific instructions for schedule selection
When customizing registration language to match your event's tone
When clarifying schedule selection requirements for attendees
When creating a more personalized registration experience
Before you start
You must have System Administrator or Event Manager permissions to modify registration settings.
How to do it
Log in to your Cadence Admin account.
Navigate to your event dashboard.
Click on "People" in the left sidebar menu.
Select "Registration" from the submenu that appears.
If you don't see the Registration option, you may need to enable it first in your event settings.
Click on the "Schedule" tab at the top of the page.
Toggle "Allow Schedule Selection During Event Registration" to enable this feature.
Disabling this setting will remove the schedule selection option from your event's registration process.
Locate the "Header Text" field in the Schedule Registration section.
Enter your custom header text.
Keep your header concise but informative, such as "Select Your Sessions" or "Choose Your Event Activities".
Review your text for clarity and accuracy.
Click "Save" at the bottom of the page to apply your changes.
Preview your registration form to see how the header text appears to registrants.
Troubleshooting
If your custom header text isn't appearing on the registration form, verify that:
"Allow Schedule Selection During Event Registration" is toggled on
You've saved your changes after updating the header text
The registration form is enabled in the Form tab
