How to mark yourself as hidden in the attendee list
The Cadence platform allows you to control your visibility to other event attendees. When you mark yourself as hidden, your profile won't appear in the attendee directory and you won't be visible for direct messaging or other networking features. This privacy option is useful when you prefer to maintain a lower profile at an event while still accessing all event content.
When to use
When you want to maintain privacy at an event
When you don't want to be contacted by other attendees
When you're attending in an administrative capacity
When you prefer not to appear in the attendee directory
Before you start
This feature must be enabled by event administrators through the "Allow attendees to become hidden" setting in the Attendees Settings. If this option isn't available, contact your event administrator.
How to do it
Log in to your Cadence account.
Navigate to your event dashboard.
Click on your profile icon in the top-right corner of the screen.
Select "My Profile" from the dropdown menu.
Locate the visibility section on your profile page.
If you're accessing the event for the first time, you may be prompted to set your visibility preference during the onboarding process.
Toggle the visibility option to "Hide me from other attendees."
Confirm your selection when prompted.
Once hidden, you will not appear in the attendee directory, and other attendees will not be able to message you or invite you to networking opportunities.
Click "Save" to apply your changes.
Troubleshooting
If you cannot find the visibility toggle on your profile:
Verify that the event administrator has enabled the "Allow attendees to become hidden" setting
Try refreshing your browser or logging out and back in
Contact event support if the option remains unavailable
