The Integrations menu in Cadence allows you to check the status of your Weglot API key, which powers multilingual translations for your event website. Viewing the API key status helps you verify that your language translation integration is properly configured and ready to use for international attendees.
When to use
When confirming if Weglot is properly configured for your event
When troubleshooting language translation issues
When checking if your API key is valid and active
When verifying which API key is currently being used
You must have Admin or Event Manager permissions to access the Integrations settings.
How to do it
Log in to your Cadence Admin account.
Navigate to your event dashboard.
Click on "Event Setup" in the left sidebar menu.
Select "Integrations" from the submenu that appears.
Locate the "Enable Weglot language translations for the event website" checkbox.
The checkbox status indicates whether Weglot is currently enabled for your event.
Check if the Weglot API key field is populated.
View the API key in the field labeled "WEGLOT API KEY".
The API key field is only active when the Weglot integration is enabled.
Verify that the API key matches your expected value if you've previously configured Weglot.
Do not share your Weglot API key with unauthorized users as it provides access to your translation services.
Troubleshooting
If the API key field is empty but Weglot is enabled, your translations will not work. Contact your System Administrator to obtain a valid API key.
