Before you start
You must have System Administrator, Event Manager, or Event Scheduler permissions to fully utilize integration features. Required fields are marked with an asterisk (*).
How to do it
Navigate to the Appointments section in your Cadence event.
Select an existing appointment or create a new one.
Add resources to your appointment by clicking the "Resources" section below Schedulers.
Resources attached to appointments can be automatically included in email invitations to provide attendees with relevant materials.
Connect to customer profiles by adding attendees through the "People" section.
When adding customers, Cadence will display their engagement history, allowing you to view previous interactions.
Check for mutual requests by reviewing the "Mutual" indicator when creating appointments.
The mutual request feature helps identify when multiple team members have scheduled appointments with the same customer, allowing for potential meeting consolidation.
Merge duplicate appointments by selecting "Options" and then "Merge Appointment" from an appointment's detail view.
When merging appointments, you can choose which elements to carry over, including attendees, objectives, topics, and custom fields.
View appointment analytics by navigating to the Analytics section from the main menu.
Analytics provides insights into appointment metrics such as status distribution, customer engagement levels, and team performance.
Coordinate with schedule items by checking the "My Schedule" view to see appointments alongside other event activities.
Enable check-ins for appointments to track attendance and compliance.
Check-in data is used for compliance reporting, so ensure this feature is enabled for appointments requiring attendance verification.
Save changes by clicking the "Save" button after making any modifications.
Troubleshooting
If appointments aren't appearing in other features:
Verify that the appointment status is "Confirmed" rather than "Proposed" or "Pending"
Check that you have the necessary permissions to view integrated data
Ensure the appointment date falls within the event date range
