Integrating X/Twitter Feed with your event's Live Feed
The X/Twitter Feed integration allows you to display social media content from specific Twitter handles or hashtags directly in your event's Live Feed. From the Live Feed Settings page, you can enable this feature to automatically pull relevant social media posts into your event's conversation stream, increasing engagement and providing a broader perspective.
When to use
When you want to display relevant social media conversations within your event
When your event has an official hashtag that attendees are using on social media
When you want to showcase thought leaders' social media content related to your event
This feature requires an active X/Twitter account to function properly.
How to do it
Log in to your Cadence admin dashboard.
Navigate to your event management page.
Select Live Feed from the left navigation menu.
Click the Settings tab at the top of the page.
Locate the "Enable X/Twitter Feed" checkbox in the settings panel.
Check the box to enable the X/Twitter integration.
Consider using a unique event hashtag to make it easier to track relevant social media content.
Click Save to apply your settings.
Navigate to the "X/Twitter" tab that appears after enabling the integration.
Add Twitter handles by entering usernames without the @ symbol.
If users enter the @ symbol in their Twitter username, Cadence will automatically remove it to ensure proper functionality.
Add hashtags by entering them with the # symbol.
Click Save to apply your X/Twitter feed settings.
Verify that social media content appears in your Live Feed.
Troubleshooting
If X/Twitter content isn't appearing in your Live Feed, verify that the handles or hashtags are active and that your X/Twitter integration credentials are valid. For persistent issues, contact your Cadence account representative.
