The Concierge User assignment in Cadence allows you to designate a team member responsible for providing dedicated support services for your event. Located in the Events section under Cadence Services Info › Info, this setting helps coordinate customer service resources and ensures proper support allocation throughout your event lifecycle.
When to use
When setting up a new event that requires dedicated concierge support
When changing the concierge assignment for an existing event
When coordinating between support teams and event managers
When implementing premium service levels for high-priority events
You must have System Administrator or Event Manager permissions to assign a concierge user. Required fields are marked with an asterisk (*).
How to do it
Log in to your Cadence Admin account.
Navigate to your event dashboard.
Click on "Event Setup" in the left sidebar menu.
Select "Cadence Services Info" from the submenu that appears.
Locate the "Concierge User ID" field in the form.
The Concierge User ID field accepts email addresses of users who already have accounts in your Cadence instance.
Enter the email address of the user you want to assign as the concierge.
The assigned concierge will receive notification of their assignment and will have visibility into event details.
Verify that the correct email address appears in the field.
Configure other related service settings as needed:
HubSpot Deal Link URL (if applicable)
Enable Logistics (Yes/No/TBD)
Hardware Required (Yes/No/TBD)
Onsite Services Type
Click "Save" to apply your changes.
Inform the assigned concierge about their responsibilities for this event.
Ensure the assigned concierge has the appropriate permissions to access all necessary event features.
Schedule a coordination meeting between the concierge and event team.
Document specific responsibilities and expectations for the concierge role.
Troubleshooting
If you cannot assign a concierge user:
Verify that the user has an active account in your Cadence instance
Check that you have the proper permissions (System Administrator or Event Manager)
Ensure you're accessing the correct event in your dashboard
