The Companies feature in Cadence allows you to share important files and links with event attendees through company profiles. Adding resources to companies enables you to provide downloadable materials, presentations, or website links that attendees can access directly from the company page, enhancing the information available about participating organizations.
When to use
When sharing company brochures or product information
When providing presentation materials for company sessions
When offering downloadable resources for attendees
When linking to external websites with additional company information
Before you start
You must have System Administrator or Event Manager permissions to add resources to companies. Required fields are marked with an asterisk (*).
How to do it
Log in to your Cadence Admin account.
Navigate to your event dashboard.
Click on "Companies" in the left sidebar menu.
Select the company you want to add resources to from the list.
Click the "Edit" button in the upper right corner of the company profile.
Scroll down to find the "Resources" section.
If you don't see the Resources section, check with your System Administrator to ensure this feature is enabled for your event.
Click the "+" button next to Resources to add a new resource.
Select the resource type from the dropdown menu:
PDF
Website
Document (DOC/DOCX)
Presentation (PPT/PPTX)
Video (MP4)
Enter a name for the resource in the "Name" field.
Upload your file or enter the website URL depending on the resource type selected.
Files larger than 10MB may cause upload failures or slow loading times for attendees.
Toggle "Make Public" if you want the resource to be visible to all event attendees.
By default, resources are visible to all attendees who can view the company profile.
Click "Save" to add the resource to the company profile.
Verify that your resource appears correctly on the company profile page.
Troubleshooting
If resources aren't displaying after adding them:
Confirm the file format is supported
Check that the file size is under the maximum limit
