The Event Check-In feature in Cadence collects valuable attendance data that can be combined with other event metrics to create comprehensive reports. By integrating check-in data with appointment attendance, schedule item participation, and registration information, you can generate powerful insights about attendee engagement and event performance.
When to use
When creating comprehensive post-event reports
When analyzing attendance patterns across different event activities
When measuring engagement metrics for specific attendee segments
When preparing compliance documentation requiring attendance verification
You must have Admin, Event Manager, or Event Scheduler permissions to access and integrate check-in reports.
How to do it
Log in to your Cadence account.
Navigate to your event dashboard.
Select "Reports" from the left sidebar menu.
Click "Final Event Reports" in the submenu.
Scroll down to the "Check-Ins" section.
This section contains all check-in related reports that can be integrated with other event data.
Select "Event Attendee Check-in Report" to export basic check-in data.
This report includes check-in timestamps which can be useful for analyzing arrival patterns.
Navigate to the "Advanced Export" option in the reports section.
Select the data points you want to include in your consolidated report:
Registration form responses
Event custom fields
Schedule item participation
Appointment information
Check-in status and timestamps
Apply filters to refine your report by attendee groups, date ranges, or participation in specific activities.
Generate and download your customized report in Excel or CSV format.
Excel format preserves formatting and allows for easier data manipulation after export.
Open the exported file in your preferred spreadsheet application.
Create pivot tables or other data visualizations to analyze relationships between check-in data and other event metrics.
Look for patterns such as which checked-in attendees participated most actively in schedule items or appointments.
Save your analysis for future reference or sharing with stakeholders.
Troubleshooting
If check-in data appears incomplete in your reports, verify that all check-in lists have been properly configured and that staff have been using the correct check-in procedures throughout the event.
