How to export Live Feed content and engagement data

The Live Feed feature in Cadence allows you to export content and engagement data for analysis, reporting, and compliance purposes. You can access these exports from the Live Feed section of your event's admin interface, providing valuable insights into user participation and content trends.

When to use

  • When creating engagement reports for stakeholders
  • When analyzing user participation and content trends
  • When archiving event content for compliance purposes
  • When transferring content to other systems or platforms

How to do it

Log in to your Cadence admin dashboard.
Navigate to your event management page.
Select Live Feed from the left navigation menu.
Click on the "Posts" tab at the top of the page.
Apply filters if you want to export specific content only.
You can filter by date range, specific feeds (if using Multiple Feed mode), or content type to create more targeted exports.
Click the "Export" button in the upper right corner of the screen.
Select your preferred export format (typically Excel).
The export will include post content, author information, timestamps, engagement metrics (likes, comments), and any media attachments.
Wait for the export to generate and download.
Open the downloaded file with your preferred spreadsheet application.
Navigate back to the Live Feed section if you need additional reports.
Click on the "Analytics" tab to access engagement metrics.
Export analytics data by clicking the "Export" button on this page.
The analytics export includes additional user profile fields such as department, job role, and country to help identify users and their organizational context.
Review the exported data for insights on user engagement and content performance.

Troubleshooting

If your export fails or contains incomplete data:
  • Verify you have the correct permissions for exporting Live Feed data
  • For large exports, try exporting smaller batches by using more specific date filters
  • Ensure your browser allows downloads from the Cadence platform
