How to customize the Registration page with your event branding

The Registration page is often the first impression attendees have of your event. Through the Registration Menu › Form section, you can customize the appearance of your registration page with your event branding elements, including logos, colors, and descriptive text to create a cohesive brand experience for your attendees.

When to use

  • When setting up a new event's registration process
  • When you want to create a branded registration experience
  • When you need to customize the appearance of your registration page
  • When adding event-specific imagery and descriptions

Before you start

You must have System Administrator or Event Manager permissions to modify registration settings.

How to do it

    Log in to your Cadence Admin account.
    Navigate to your event dashboard.
    Click on "People" in the left sidebar menu.
    Select "Registration" from the submenu that appears.
If you don't see the Registration option, you may need to enable it first in your event settings.
    Click on the "Form" tab at the top of the page.
    Toggle "Enable Registration Form" to turn on the registration form feature.
Disabling this setting will remove the registration form from your event's registration process.
    Upload your event logo by clicking the "Upload" button in the Logo section.
For best results, use a PNG or JPG file with dimensions of at least 300x150 pixels.
    Enter a "Registration Page URL Short Name" to create a custom URL for your registration page.
    Add your "Event Overview on Registration Site" text to provide context about your event.
    Choose whether to "Hide Event Location" based on your event format.
For virtual events, you may want to hide the physical location to avoid confusion.
    Select your brand colors using the color picker to match your organization's branding.
    Preview your registration page by clicking the "Preview" button at the top right.
    Click "Save" at the bottom of the page to apply all your changes.

Troubleshooting

  • If your logo appears distorted, try uploading an image with different dimensions or aspect ratio.
  • If your registration page isn't displaying properly after saving, clear your browser cache and try again.
