Supported Languages in Event Cadence Earth Globe Europe-Africa

Last Updated: October 2025Applies to: Web and Mobile

Overview

Event Cadence is designed to support global teams, offering multilingual functionality across both the web and mobile app platforms. While both platforms support multiple languages, their translation capabilities vary. This article explains how translations work in Event Cadence and outlines which languages are currently available.

Web Platform

The web version of Event Cadence offers the most flexibility for multilingual users.
  • Uses  Weglot  translation to display content in different languages using machine translation.
Event Cadence integrates with Weglot, a third-party translation service that displays web content in multiple languages. Weglot is billed separately, and implementation depends on whether translation is managed by Event Cadence or by the customer.
  • Supports dynamic translation of most on-screen text.
  • Allows users to view content in multiple languages.
  • Does not require any human-translation; however, it does allow translation corrections, if needed.
  • Please note: Weglot translations apply to web content and may not mirror the in-app language selection.
  • It is also not automatically enabled for every event and should be set up in the Weglot project (in Weglot, outside the Cadence platform).
  • Once you have completed the setup in the Weglot project, you can now paste the Weglot API key in the admin console integrations section, which will enable the translations.
Check Mark Button Best for: Customers who need immediate access to translated web content.

Mobile App

The mobile app includes partial translation support.
  • Languages supported: Arabic, Dutch, French, German, Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, and Spanish.
  • Currently provides static translations for key interface elements (like menus, buttons, and labels).
  • Some dynamic or server-based content may still appear in English.
  • Language options are limited and cannot be fully customized by users at this time.
Light Bulb Tip: If you’re managing an event with multilingual attendees, we recommend using the web version for the most consistent translation experience.
Note: Mobile language availability is event-specific.The Cadence mobile app operates in the context of the selected event. Before attendees can switch languages in the mobile app, those languages must first be enabled for the event in the Admin console. Only the languages selected at the event level will appear as options in the mobile app.
To access the Languages in the Mobile App, please follow these steps:
Head to your Admin page and select the event of your choice
Go to Details and scroll down to Supported Languages
Then choose all languages you want to enable.
Now, to change the languages in your mobile app, follow these steps:
Log in to your Cadence mobile app
    Click Support and Settings
Under Preferences, you'll find the Languages menu, and then you can choose which language to change to.
