Adding multiple customers to a single appointment in Cadence allows you to schedule group meetings efficiently. This feature is particularly useful for panel discussions, advisory boards, or when multiple stakeholders need to attend the same meeting. You can add multiple customers during appointment creation or to existing appointments through the Appointments section.
When to use
When organizing panel discussions or group meetings
When multiple customers need to attend the same appointment
When consolidating separate appointments into a single meeting
When scheduling advisory boards or committee meetings
You must have Scheduler, Event Manager, or System Administrator permissions to add multiple customers to appointments.
How to do it
Navigate to the Appointments section in your Cadence dashboard.
Select an existing appointment or click "Add" to create a new one.
Locate the "People" section in the appointment form.
Click the "+" icon next to the People field to add attendees.
You can also type directly in the search field to find existing customers by name or email.
Search for the first customer you want to add by typing their name or email.
Select the customer from the search results that appear.
Repeat steps 5-6 for each additional customer you want to add.
When multiple customers are added to an appointment, the "Ask Customer" feature will automatically use the "Customers Submit Availabilities" option instead of "Single Date & Time Select."
Click "Add Multiple People" if you need to add several customers at once.
Enter multiple email addresses separated by commas in the popup dialog.
Select whether the customers are "Required" or "Optional" by choosing the appropriate option.
Review the list of added customers before saving.
Adding multiple customers to a room with limited capacity may trigger a warning if the number of in-person attendees exceeds the room capacity.
Click "Save" to update the appointment with the new customers.
Troubleshooting
If the "Add Multiple People" option causes the screen to freeze, refresh the page and try pasting email addresses directly into the People field, separated by commas.
