How to change the column layout for Home tiles (Web Only)
How to change the column layout for Home tiles (Web Only)
The Home page column layout determines how content tiles are arranged on your event's web interface. Through the Home Menu's Settings tab, you can choose from four different column layouts to optimize how information is presented to attendees. This setting only affects the web version of your event and won't change the mobile app experience.
When to use
When setting up a new event's Home page
When you need to reorganize your Home tiles for better visual flow
When adding or removing Home tiles
When optimizing for different screen sizes
How to do it
Log in to your Cadence Admin account.
Navigate to your event dashboard.
Click on "Home" in the left sidebar menu.
Select the "Settings" tab at the top of the page.
Locate the "Columns (Web Only)" dropdown menu.
Column layout settings only affect the web version of your event, not the mobile app.
Choose one of the following layout options:
Single Column: Displays tiles vertically in one column
Two Columns: Arranges tiles in two side-by-side columns
Single Row: Places tiles horizontally in one row
Two Rows: Organizes tiles in two horizontal rows
Select an alignment option from the "Alignment (Web Only)" dropdown:
Left Aligned: Positions tiles along the left side
Centered: Places tiles in the center of the page
Right Aligned: Aligns tiles along the right side
The Two Columns layout works well for events with many information tiles, while Single Row is better for showcasing just a few important tiles.
Click "Save" at the bottom of the page to apply your changes.
Troubleshooting
If your Home tiles don't appear in the expected layout after saving:
Refresh your browser and clear cache if necessary
Verify that you're viewing the web version, not the mobile app
Check that you have enough tiles to display in your chosen layout (Single Row and Two Rows require multiple tiles)
