The Cadence platform allows you to export attendee information for your events, providing valuable data for reporting, analysis, and offline management. This feature is accessible from the Attendees section of your event and offers various export options depending on your specific needs.
When to use
When you need a complete list of event attendees for offline reference
When creating reports for stakeholders or team members
When analyzing attendee demographics or participation
When managing check-in processes or attendance tracking
How to do it
Log in to your Cadence account.
Navigate to your event dashboard.
Click on "People" in the left sidebar menu.
Select "Attendees" from the submenu.
Apply any filters you want using the "Refine" button if you need to export a specific subset of attendees.
Filtering before export allows you to create more targeted reports. You can filter by groups, registration status, or custom fields.
Click the "Export" or "Import/Export" button located in the upper right corner of the attendee list.
Select the export format you prefer (typically Excel or CSV).
The export will include all standard attendee fields such as name, email, company, title, and any custom fields configured for your event.
Choose any additional export options if prompted, such as including specific custom fields.
Click "Export" to generate and download the file.
For large events with many attendees, the export may take a few moments to generate.
Open the downloaded file with your preferred spreadsheet application.
Troubleshooting
If your export appears to be missing attendees, verify that you don't have any active filters applied in the attendee list that might be limiting the results.
If you need specialized reports that include registration form answers or schedule item participation, use the "Advanced Export - Assigned & Elective" option in the Reports section under Schedule exports.
