Suppose you're hosting a crucial workshop and need to provide a PDF for attendees to review beforehand.
Tip: Instead of emailing it, you can add it directly to Cadence.
Adding a PDF to a Session
To do this, navigate to the session from the Schedule Menu.
Example: Adding a PDF to a Workshop
For instance, let's say you have a session titled Workshop and you want to add some light reading material. In this case, you have a PDF of Sun Tzu's The Art of War.
What Your Session Details Might Look Like
Your session details might resemble the image below.

Now, click on the Materials tab.

Click on the Plus Sign ( + )
Doing so will open a page where you can create a Materials Section within the Session's Details.
Enter Section Name and Text (Optional)
For example, I'm naming my section, "Materials (please read before workshop)".

Visibility Settings: This section is visible to all event participants by default. To restrict access, use the Visible To option.
Next, hit the Save button.
After the page refreshes, you'll find options under the Links header.
Click on Link to Material

Creating a New Material
To create a new material, click on Create Material. Alternatively, you can add previously uploaded materials by selecting Select Material.
Uploading a PDF
Next, upload the PDF and assign a name for its display in Cadence.

Step 1: Click Next
Step 2: Select Release Time
Choose when you want your content to be released. Here are your options:
For immediate release, select Immediately from the Release pull-down menu.
To schedule a specific release date and time, select Predetermined.
Our Choice: Immediate Availability
In this example, we're choosing to make the content immediately available.

Saving Your Changes
Now click Save, and then Save again on the next page to confirm your changes.
Viewing the Material in Cadence
Now if I navigate to Workshop in Cadence, you'll see the material appearing.

Accessing and Sharing PDFs
Now, anyone can tap and view the PDF. They can even share it by tapping on the options icon ( ••• ).
