WINTER 2022 RELEASES





EVENTS



All of your Events

Search, Refine, Reporting & Analytics

As the all-in-one platform, we want to put the power in your organizations hands to have a global events listing that's beautiful to view, easy to search and refine, and powerful in its reporting and analytics.

We have added the ability on web and app for you to view your events in image view or list view with improved searching and refining, including custom fields. Best of all will be the reporting and analytics available in real-time.



Register for Events within Cadence

You will now be able to display all events that are open for registration within the Events listing within Cadence web and app.



Bring further visibility to all events that are available to register for your audience. This new feature enables you to make all upcoming events visible within Cadence pre-registration for all prospective attendees.



When you enable registration, if the user is part of your registration list, the event will display in the Events listing for them to register for. The attendee will always see either Register or Registered status for each event. Register displays bringing the user to your registration site and Registered displays after the user has registered.



The Register button will navigate the user to your registration site, whether enabled through Cadence or linking to an external registration site, such as through Cvent or EventBrite.

External Events from Cadence (Beta)

As much as it hurts us to say, we do know that you may occasionally host your events outside of Cadence, such as through Zoom, Teams, or another events platform. As our customers want Cadence to be the singular location that their audience knows to find their events, we wanted to support the ability for you to display all your events to your audience with the ability to navigate the attendee to the specific external event experience.



When you create or edit your event, you may select External Event and enter the External Event URL, such as. Zoom Meeting or Zoom Webinar URL. In the listing of Events, when the attendee selects the Event, it will open up the external URL, such as opening up Zoom.

Events - Custom Fields (Beta)

Each organization may want to organize their Events as needed for their company. We have implemented the ability for you to add custom fields, such as Event Type, Product, Brand, Region, Country.

These fields will display within Create/Edit Event, Event listings page, Search & Refine, and Reporting & Analytics.



This will open up the ability to allow your attendees to search and refine the list of events by these custom fields as well as provide helpful insights in your reporting & analytics across time.

HOME



Home - Text Tiles (Beta)




As Home is one of event organizer's primary areas of communication to their audience, we have add a new tile type, Text Tiles. Text Tiles allow you to communicate a message through written text to your audience.

Mobile View

Home - Tile Layouts (Beta)


To give you even more control over your Home screen conveying your organization's or event theme's look and feel, you may now layout your tiles to be either single column, double column, single row, or double row layouts.



Additionally, you may control whether your tiles are left aligned, centered or right aligned.

These improvements will provide more flexibility around laying out your tiles linking to each experience of your event, while maintaining the look and feel of your branding, especially if you want your company's logo or event theme messaging smack dab in the middle of your landing page.

Home - Live Video (Beta)


One of the most requested features throughout 2021 was the ability to display a live broadcast directly on the first area of your event that your attendees experience, which is Home.



We've listened and ideated upon the experience for you and your audience. To simplify the set-up on your end, we now display a Live Video tile for any live Symphony that uses custom live stream, embed or uploaded videos. Your audience will instantly see the live broadcast on your event's Home screen and may join the Symphony by clicking on the tile. Alternatively, they may use the new Picture in Picture feature to watch your broadcast while continuing upon their normal day-to-day work cadence.

SYMPHONY



Messaging - Pinned Message



You will be able to send your own message and pin it for increased visibility, such as for detailing support requests or how to unmute Vimeo. Or you may pin a participants message, such as when they share excitement and insights.




PLATFORM INTEGRATIONS



Cvent Integration (Beta)



We have recently launched the ability to directly integrate your Cvent account into your Cadence account for Premium Pro and Enterprise licenses.

As attendees register in Cvent, they'll automatically be sync'd into your event within Cadence. You will be able to map which registration fields correlate with which profile and/or custom fields within your event in Cadence. Groups may also be automatically created and sync'd as well.



EventBrite Integration (Beta)



We have recently launched the ability to directly integrate your Eventbrite account into your Cadence account for Premium Pro and Enterprise licenses.

As attendees register in Eventbrite, they'll automatically be sync'd into your event within Cadence. You will be able to map which registration fields correlate with which profile and/or custom fields within your event in Cadence. Groups may also be automatically created and sync'd as well.



COLLECTIONS




We noticed that many organizers distribute a plethora of resources for their event audience. Our user interface, while beautiful, made it cumbersome when searching through a large list of resources. To improve upon this experience for your audience, we have introduced a new list view for resources. The ideal use case would be one you release 10+ resources for event, such as with your on-demand recordings.



REGISTRATION, LOGIN & ONBOARDING



New Registration Site Design



You will now be able to communicate all event details, including an overview of your schedule, speakers, sponsors, and any additional context you'd like to provide your audience on your registration websites.



FALL 2021





New Event Format - Hybrid Events


There is a new event format option called Hybrid Event. When selected, three groups are automated created, which are In-Person, Remote and Unknown, which will also automatically add to your registration form.

The list of attendees within People will display whether the attendee is participating In-Person or Remotely.

For your schedule items, you will have both the physical location as well as the online meeting link. The schedule view and notifications will be catered to whether the attendee is there live or participating remotely.

We will be rolling out a ton of new features for the hybrid experience throughout the rest of the year.


Live Broadcast – Picture in Picture




When attendees join during the event, the Home screen along with each area of your event within Cadence will have the Live Broadcast displayed. Attendees may click on it to open up the full broadcast with Messaging, Ask a Question, Live Polling or choose to navigate around the event

When within the full broadcast, they may select picture in picture to navigate to any area of their desktop or mobile device. Primary use case would be watching/listening to a session while in Outlook for instance.

We will rollout this feature with configuration ability in case you do not want attendees to have picture in picture ability.


Collections & Materials - Videos - Picture in Picture




Our new Cadence video player, powered by  Plyr.io  has the picture in picture function for your audience to select to pop-out the video player to view while navigating to other browser tabs or applications across your device.

SUMMER 2021





SYMPHONY



Mobile & Tablet Optimized Symphony!



Symphony sessions with embedded broadcasts are now available on mobile and tablet devices. Your attendees may join immediately from any device, anywhere, including the ability to engage with messaging and ask a question.


Symphony – Live Streaming


Our customers traditionally utilize a platform such as Vimeo or YouTube to connect their live broadcasts from their production studio into Symphony. To further reduce the delay in your audience seeing the live speakers along with reducing the costs of utilizing an intermediary platform for streaming, we now support RTMP live streaming directly into Symphony via our platform partner Mux.



When setting up your setting, select the new option for Live Stream to receive your stream key and URL for applying to your source, such as Zoom or your production studio.

Your RTMP broadcast will automatically display when Live on your event Home screen for increased visibility for your attendees.


Symphony – Backgrounds




To further embrace every area of your event looking and feeling like your company and brand, you’ll now be able to apply background images to your broadcasts. Even though your production live streams or pre-recorded videos may already have these backgrounds applied, you’ll be able to cascade this throughout the entire Symphony.

You will be able to add custom fields for your Schedule, such as Session Type, Format, Available On-Demand.

These fields will display within Create/Edit Schedule Item, Schedule Item pages, Search & Refine, and Reporting & Analytics.


People - Custom Fields

You will be able to add custom fields for People, such as professional or personal fields of information.

These fields will display within Create/Edit Attendee, People's profiles, Search & Refine, and Reporting & Analytics.

Beautiful Attendee Profiles



​Making connections has never been so gorgeous! Star-Struck Our Attendee Profiles got a little face lift, and now match the recently updated designs for your Schedule, Speakers, and Companies. And to make things even easier, your attendees have a neat new checklist informing them how to fill out their profile to foster even more connections.
When viewing others' profiles, you are able to see their profile picture, personalized banner images, profile information, personal motto, and other connections.

Embedded Video



​For your Schedule items, you may now use an embedded video rather than a banner image! Film Frames
A few helpful use cases for embedded video:
  • Before your event begins, use embedded video for hype videos, teasers, or speaker videos.
  • During your event, use embedded video for the live broadcast itself, making it even easier for your attendees to watch.
  • After your event, use embedded video for the on-demand recordings.

Sponsors - Real Time Visitors Dashboard



We've recently introduced real-time visibility to all visitors to a sponsors website within your event. Each sponsor delegate along with your events team may view the real-time visitors and high level analytics.



Each unique visitor will be listed along with the specific engagement with the sponsor, such as visited their site and social media links, connected with the reps, accessed the resources, engaged in conversation and requested appointments.

New Feature - Custom Pages




Custom Pages, similar to SquareSpace, allow you to create completely customizable pages to display information, media, and links relevant to your specific event needs.

Registration & Login Updates



Registration through SSO

Cadence has always supported SSO for logging into the platform. However we will now be adding the ability for an employee to officially register for your event using SSO as well.


Login Improvement for SSO

The first step of the process will be to enter your email address. Upon entering your email address, the employee will be directed to SSO if enabled or to Cadence's enter password field if an external guest


PEOPLE & GROUPS



Create & Join Groups​



To foster more organic conversation around Topics of Interest relevant to your event audience, we've added the new ability for you to enable your audience to create and join private and public groups at your event.


Online for Connections​



We will be bringing more visibility to the People at your event in regards to who is currently online and offline, along with who is attending in-person and who is attending remotely.
Our recent release brings visibility for attendees to see which of their connections are currently online or offline at any moment of your event.


COLLECTIONS



My Collections - Recently Viewed Materials



We are adding the configuration setting for your event to allow attendees to create their own collections, empowering them to save their favorite materials to their collections.

We are also adding a default Collection displaying the most recently viewed materials for each attendee.


Collections - Analytics Dashboard



Within each Collection, you may select Analytics Dashboard to see analytics on your collection, which you may refine by Today, Last Week and Last Month. We will be adding Last 3 Months, Last 6 Months and Last 12 Months shortly along with ability to export to PDF and PPT.


New Video Player



​We have integrated the beautiful, powerful video player from  Plyr.io  into Cadence on web, iOS and Android apps. Stay tuned for engaging new video features coming soon to Cadence using the Plyr video player!





PLATFORM INTEGRATIONS



Microsoft Teams



Cadence is currently integrated with Zoom and WebEx for Premium Pro and Enterprise licensing allowing you to automatically generate Zoom or WebEx meetings when you create schedule items, appointments or start video conversations.

We will be adding Microsoft Teams as a third option for you for your events. You will be able to authenticate your Microsoft Teams account to automatically have Teams Meetings generated when you create schedule items, appointments or start video conversations.


Mux for Encoding Uploaded Videos


We are integrating Mux into our platform for all uploaded videos. Mux is just-in-time encoding that will optimize your videos for viewing online or live streaming within your virtual events.
