To publish an iOS app in the App Store, your organization must have an Apple Developer Program account.
The Apple Developer Program currently costs and must remain active for the app to stay available in the App Store. The account should be owned by the client organization, not an individual employee, when possible.
Cadence may need access to the client’s Apple Developer account and App Store Connect account depending on the selected deployment model.
- Manage Yourself - If you'd prefer to manage app deployments internally, the Cadence team will deliver the .IPA (iOS) and .aab (Android) files of your white-labeled app directly to you via a downloadable link. These files can then be imported in your Google Play and iTunes Connect accounts to be submitted to the app stores.
- Cadence Managed - The Cadence team upload and manage your App Store/Google Play submissions. This is done by creating the application in iTunes and Google Play and working with our team to give Administrator access to your white-labeled application so our team can submit and manage the application. Note: Admin Access is only required for the Cadence app and Cadence employees do not gain access to your overall iTunes or Google Play accounts. Google’s policy includes Data deletion information in the Data safety section and may reject new submissions or updates if the required data deletion questions are incomplete or have unresolved issues.
The client should provide:
- Account deletion URL, if available
- In-app account deletion process, if available
- Support contact for deletion requests
