How to create Notifications

This guide shows how to create notifications manually or using an import file. 
1. Manual Notifications 
    From Admin → Notifications, click the + button. 
    Fill out: 
  • Notification Header → required title (shows on attendee phones). 
  • Notification Body → optional text, links, or images. 
  • Link Notification (Yes/No) → makes notification clickable. 
  • For Users → All, or Specific users/groups. 
  • Attendance Type → In-person, Virtual, or All (for hybrid events). 
  • When to Send → Send Now or Schedule (set date & time). 
  • Delivery Method → Push (pop-up in app), Email, or both. 
    Options: 
  • Send Test Notification → preview before sending. 
  • Send Now → confirm and send immediately. 
  • Save → keep draft or schedule for later. 
 Warning If attendees disable push notifications on their phones, they will only see them inside the app (red dot on bell icon). 
2. Notifications via Import File 
  • Use the Import File to create multiple notifications at once. 
  • Download the template from Admin → Notifications → Import/Export → Template. 
  • Fill the fields (check required vs optional). 
  • Upload file: system confirms success or shows errors. 
  • Correct and re-upload only the failed ones to avoid duplicates. 
 Best Practices: 
  • Always test before sending to all users. 
  • Use scheduling to automate communications. 
  • Keep notifications short, clear, and engaging.
