Monitoring attendee check-ins helps you track participation and generate accurate attendance reports for your event. In Cadence, you can easily view which attendees have checked in through the People section, allowing you to identify who has arrived and who hasn't yet attended.
When to use
When tracking attendance for reporting purposes
When verifying participation for compliance requirements
When managing room capacity during an event
When following up with no-shows
Before you start
You must have Admin, Event Manager, or Event Scheduler permissions to view check-in data.
How to do it
Log in to your Cadence account.
Navigate to your event dashboard.
Select "People" from the left sidebar menu.
Click "Attendees" in the submenu.
Look for the check-in status indicator next to each attendee's name.
Checked-in attendees typically display a green checkmark or "Checked In" status.
Use filters to view specific check-in statuses by clicking the filter icon at the top of the attendee list.
You can filter by "Checked In," "Not Checked In," or "No Show" status.
Click the "Export" button to download a CSV report of attendee check-in data.
This report includes check-in timestamps and can be useful for post-event analysis.
Review the check-in statistics at the top of the page showing total checked-in versus registered attendees.
Troubleshooting
If an attendee was checked in incorrectly, you must manually update their status. Once checked in, the status cannot be automatically reverted.
