How to use attendee data for post-event reporting

Cadence's attendee data provides valuable insights for post-event analysis and reporting. By leveraging the information collected through the Attendees menu, you can generate comprehensive reports that help measure event success, track engagement, and inform future event planning decisions.

When to use

  • When creating post-event summary reports for stakeholders
  • When analyzing attendee engagement and participation
  • When measuring event ROI and success metrics
  • When planning future events based on attendee data

How to do it

Log in to your Cadence admin account.
    Navigate to your event dashboard.
Select "People" from the left sidebar menu.
    Click "Attendees" in the submenu.
Export basic attendee data by clicking the "Export" button in the upper right corner.
This basic export includes attendee names, contact information, and registration status.
Access comprehensive reporting by navigating to "Reports" in the left sidebar.
Select "Final Event Reports" to view all available post-event report options.
Generate an "Event Attendee Check-in Report" to analyze attendance rates.
This report includes both checked-in and non-checked-in attendees with timestamps.
Create a "Consolidated Attendee Report" by selecting the "Advanced Export" option.
Choose specific data points to include in your report:
  • Registration form responses
  • Event custom fields
  • Schedule item participation
  • Appointment information
Apply filters to refine your report by attendee groups, date ranges, or participation in specific activities.
Generate and download your customized report in Excel or CSV format.
Analyze engagement metrics by reviewing reports on:
  • Connection requests
  • Live feed activity
  • Direct messaging
  • Schedule item attendance
Compare attendance data with registration numbers to calculate conversion rates.
Look for patterns in which attendees engaged most with your event content to inform future planning.

Troubleshooting

Large events with thousands of attendees may cause report generation to take longer than expected. For very large events, consider using filters to create smaller, more targeted reports.
