The Collections feature in Cadence allows you to control how content resources are displayed to your event attendees. From the Collections Menu › Settings area, you can modify visual elements and display options to create a more tailored experience that matches your event's branding and improves content discoverability.
When to use
When you want to create a more streamlined Collections interface
When you need to hide the Recently Viewed section for privacy reasons

Before you start
You must have Admin or Event Manager permissions to customize Collections appearance settings.
How to do it
Log in to your Cadence Admin account.
Navigate to your event dashboard.
Select "Collections" from the left sidebar navigation.
Click the "Settings" tab at the top of the Collections page.
Review the available appearance customization options.
Configure the "Recently Viewed" display by checking or unchecking "Disable display of 'Recently Viewed'".
Disabling the Recently Viewed section creates a cleaner interface and prevents attendees from seeing what others have been viewing.
Consider your event's privacy needs when deciding whether to show Recently Viewed content.
Once disabled, the Recently Viewed section will be hidden for all attendees, and this setting applies to all collections in your event.
Click "Save" to apply your appearance customizations.
Preview the Collections interface as an attendee would see it to verify your changes.
Troubleshooting
If your appearance settings aren't taking effect immediately:
Try refreshing the page or clearing your browser cache
Verify that you clicked "Save" after making changes
Check that you have the necessary permissions to modify Collections settings
