The Schedule Labels section in Cadence allows you to control which user roles can modify custom terminology throughout your event's schedule interface. Located in the Schedule Menu › Labels area, this feature helps maintain consistent terminology by restricting who can change labels for Track, Location, and Speaker fields based on their assigned permissions in your event.

When delegating label customization to specific team members
When maintaining brand consistency across multiple events
You must have System Administrator permissions to manage label customization permissions. Other roles may view but not modify these settings.
How to do it
Log in to your Cadence account.
Navigate to your event dashboard.
Click on "Schedule" in the left sidebar menu.
Select "Labels" from the submenu that appears.
Click on the "Permissions" tab at the top of the Labels page.
If you don't see the Permissions tab, you may not have System Administrator access.
Review the current permission settings for label customization.
Select which user roles can modify schedule labels:
System Administrators (always enabled)
Event Managers
Event Schedulers
Toggle "Allow Event Managers to customize labels" to enable or disable this permission.
For most events, it's recommended to limit label customization to System Administrators to maintain consistency.
Toggle "Allow Event Schedulers to customize labels" to enable or disable this permission.
Enabling this option for Event Schedulers may lead to inconsistent terminology across your event.
Click "Save" to apply your permission changes.
Verify the changes by logging in as different user types to confirm permissions are working correctly.
Troubleshooting
If users report they cannot modify labels despite having the appropriate role, ensure they're using the latest version of the Cadence app (v2.7.387 for iOS or v2.7.404 for Android) and try refreshing their event data.
