How to view existing speakers in your event

The Speakers interface in Cadence provides a comprehensive view of all presenters at your event. From the Speakers Menu, you can browse speaker profiles, search for specific individuals, and filter the list to find exactly who you're looking for, making it easy to review and manage your event's presenters.

When to use

  • When you need to review which speakers are added to your event
  • When looking for a specific speaker's profile
  • When checking speaker information before an event
  • When you need to share speaker information with your team

Before you start

You must have System Administrator or Event Manager permissions to access the Speakers menu. If the Speakers menu is not visible, you may need to enable it first through Event Setup › Menu.

How to do it

Log in to your Cadence account.
    Navigate to your event dashboard.
Click on "Speakers" in the left sidebar menu.
If you don't see the Speakers option, check that it's enabled in Event Setup › Menu.
Review the list of speakers displayed on the page.
Use the search bar at the top of the page to find specific speakers by name.
Click the "Refine" button to filter speakers by criteria such as track, session, or custom fields.
Change the view order by navigating to the Settings tab and selecting your preferred sorting method:
  • "A-Z (Last Name)" for alphabetical sorting
  • "Custom order" to view speakers in a manually arranged order
Click on any speaker's name or image to view their detailed profile.
Speaker profiles include biographical information, session assignments, and contact details based on your event's configuration.
Return to the main speakers list by clicking "Back" or selecting "Speakers" again from the sidebar.

Troubleshooting

If speakers added to schedule items are not appearing in your speakers list, verify that the schedule items have been properly saved and that the speakers were correctly linked to those items.
