How to post content to the Live Feed as an administrator

As an administrator, you can post content to your event's Live Feed to share important announcements, engage with attendees, and highlight key moments. The Live Feed serves as the primary social interaction hub for your event, and administrators have special privileges including the ability to post even when audience participation is disabled.

How to do it

Log in to your Cadence admin dashboard.
Navigate to your event management page.
Select Live Feed from the left navigation menu.
Click the Posts tab at the top of the page.
Click the "+" button to create a new post.
Select the feed where you want to post if you're using Multiple Feed mode.
If you're using Single Feed mode, your post will automatically go to the main feed.
Enter your content in the text field.
Add attachments (photos, videos, or other files) by clicking the attachment icon if desired.
Tag users by typing @ followed by their name to notify them about your post.
You can also @mention menu items and other Live Feeds to direct attendees to specific content.
Review your post for accuracy and appropriate content.
Click Post to publish your content to the Live Feed.
Even if post approval is enabled, administrator posts are automatically approved and immediately visible to attendees.

Troubleshooting

If your post doesn't appear immediately, check that you've selected the correct feed and that your internet connection is stable. For posts with large attachments, allow extra time for uploading before the post appears.
