The Notifications Settings page in Cadence allows you to configure how time-sensitive information is delivered to your event attendees. By strategically using Schedule Reminders, Live Feed notifications, and targeted manual notifications, you can ensure critical updates reach your audience when they need them most, helping to drive timely actions and responses during your event.

Before you start
You must have Admin or Event Manager permissions to modify notification settings.
How to do it
Navigate to your event dashboard in Cadence.
Select "Notifications" from the left sidebar menu.
Click the "Settings" tab at the top of the page.
Enable Schedule Reminders by checking the box if not already enabled.
Schedule reminders are crucial for time-sensitive sessions, ensuring attendees don't miss important time-bound activities.
Select a shorter reminder time from the dropdown menu for urgent sessions.
Choose 5-15 minutes for immediate action items and 25-60 minutes for sessions requiring preparation time.
Consider enabling Live Feed notifications for real-time updates during critical event periods.
Only enable this during specific time windows when immediate updates are essential, as it can quickly lead to notification fatigue.
Click "Save" at the bottom of the page to apply your settings.
Create targeted manual notifications for time-sensitive information.
Use clear time indicators in notification headers such as "URGENT" or specific time references.
Include direct deep links to relevant content in your notifications.
Deep links to maps, schedule items, or live sessions save attendees time when quick action is needed.

Troubleshooting
If attendees report not receiving time-sensitive notifications:
Verify they haven't disabled push notifications on their devices
Confirm they have the latest version of the Cadence mobile app (v2.7.404 for Android or v2.7.393 for iOS)
