The Color Theme settings in Cadence allow you to customize the visual appearance of your event by applying colors that cascade across the entire event experience. Your selected color theme will be consistently applied to all menu items and features in the web interface, Android app, and iOS app, ensuring a unified brand experience for your attendees.

When to use

  • When setting up a new event
  • When updating your event's branding
  • When you want to ensure visual consistency across all platforms

How to do it

    Navigate to the Admin site for your event.
    Select Event Setup from the main navigation menu.
    Click on Color Theme in the left sidebar menu.
    Choose your preferred color theme option:
  • Default Color: Uses the color scheme set at the Account level
  • Custom Color: Applies a single color of your choice to all features
  • Advanced Colors: Allows different colors for each feature
The Default Color option uses the color scheme that was configured at the Account level and is applied to your event by default.
    If selecting Custom Color, click on the color box to open the color picker and choose your desired color.
You can enter a specific hex code (e.g., #FF5733) in the color picker to match your exact brand colors.
    If selecting Advanced Colors, configure individual colors for each feature by clicking on their respective color boxes.
    Click "Apply Color to All" if you want to apply the currently selected color to all features at once.
This action will override any individual feature colors you've previously set in Advanced Colors mode.
    Click "Save" to apply your color theme settings.
    Visit your event's user-facing website to verify the colors appear as expected.
    Check your event in the mobile app to ensure colors display consistently across platforms.

Troubleshooting

If custom menu items don't display your selected color theme correctly, verify that you've clicked "Save" after making your color selections. Some custom menu items may require additional configuration to properly display custom colors.
