How to filter the attendee list by check-in status

The Event Check-In feature in Cadence allows you to quickly sort and filter attendees based on their check-in status. By applying these filters, you can easily identify who has checked in, who hasn't arrived yet, or who was marked as a no-show, helping you manage event attendance more efficiently.

When to use

  • When monitoring real-time check-in progress
  • When following up with attendees who haven't checked in
  • When generating attendance reports for specific groups
  • When managing registration desk operations
You must have Admin, Event Manager, or Event Scheduler permissions to access the Event Check-In filters.

How to do it

Log in to your Cadence account.
    Navigate to your event dashboard.
Select "People" from the left sidebar menu.
Click "Event Check-In" in the submenu.
Locate the filter options at the top of the attendee list.
The filter section appears as a row of buttons or dropdown options above the attendee list.
Select your desired check-in status filter:
  • All (shows all registered attendees)
  • Checked In (shows only attendees who have checked in)
  • Not Checked In (shows attendees who haven't checked in yet)
  • No Show (shows attendees marked as no-shows)
Apply additional filters by clicking the "Refine" button.
The Refine option allows you to combine check-in status with other criteria such as attendee type, groups, or custom fields.
Select the attendee type filter if you want to view check-in status for specific types:
  • All (default)
  • Internal Attendees (or your custom label)
  • Customers (or your custom label)
Review the filtered list of attendees based on your selections.
Clear filters by clicking "Clear" or selecting "All" from the filter options.
You can export the filtered list by clicking the "Export" button in the upper right corner.

Troubleshooting

If your filtered results don't match expected numbers, verify that:
  • All attendees are properly registered for the event
  • The correct event day is selected (if using per-day check-in)
  • Custom attendee type labels are configured correctly in settings
