How to understand the purpose of each integration option

The Integrations menu in Cadence provides various options to connect your event with external services and control platform behavior. Each integration option serves a specific purpose, from enabling multilingual content to managing menu visibility across devices. Understanding these options helps you configure your event to meet specific requirements and enhance the attendee experience.

When to use

  • When setting up language translations for your event website
  • When configuring API connections with third-party services
  • When controlling the visibility of the Events menu on web and mobile
  • When managing integration settings across your event
You must have Admin or Event Manager permissions to access and modify the Integrations settings.

How to do it

    Log in to your Cadence Admin account.
    Navigate to your event dashboard.
    Click on "Event Setup" in the left sidebar menu.
    Select "Integrations" from the submenu that appears.
    Review the Weglot language translation option.
App translation is not supported with the Weglot integration, only website translations.
    Understand that enabling Weglot allows your event website to be translated into multiple languages for international attendees.
    Note that the Weglot API key field becomes active only when you enable the Weglot integration.
    Consider the Events Menu visibility options for both web and mobile platforms.
Disabling the Events Menu is a Non-public Beta feature and should be used with caution.
    Recognize that disabling the Events Menu for web removes this navigation element from the browser version of your event.
    Understand that disabling the Events Menu for mobile removes this navigation element from the mobile app version of your event.
    Click "Save" after making any changes to your integration settings.

Troubleshooting

If your integration settings aren't taking effect, ensure you've clicked the "Save" button and refresh your browser cache.
