The Companies feature in Cadence provides a central hub for managing company profiles, appointments, and communication settings for your event. From the Companies Menu, you can modify existing company information including logos, descriptions, social media links, and appointment settings to ensure attendees have the most current information about participating companies.

When adding new social media links or website URLs

Before you start
You must have System Administrator or Event Manager permissions to edit company details. Required fields are marked with an asterisk (*).
How to do it
Log in to your Cadence Admin account.
Navigate to your event dashboard.
Click on "Companies" in the left sidebar menu.
Locate the company you want to edit in the companies list.
Click on the company name or image to open its profile.
You can use the search bar at the top of the Companies page to quickly find a specific company.
Click the "Edit" button in the upper right corner of the company profile page.
Update the company logo by clicking on the current image and uploading a new one.
Logo images are required and should be high-resolution with a square format for best results.
Modify the company name in the "Name" field if needed.
Edit the tagline or motto in the "Motto" field.
Revise the company description in the "Description" field.
Adjust company group assignments using the dropdown selector.
Companies can belong to multiple groups, which helps organize them for attendees.
Update website URL and social media links in their respective fields.
Configure appointment settings if needed:
Toggle "Enable Appointment Requests" on or off
Edit appointment header text
Customize the appointment button label
Modify appointment topics
Adjust messaging channel settings if needed.
Click "Save" to apply your changes.
Verify that your updates appear correctly on the company profile.
Troubleshooting
If you cannot save company changes:
Ensure the company logo field is not empty
Verify that the company name field is completed
Check that your event is in an editable state (not archived or locked)
